Importance of Flossing : It is necessary to floss in teeth at least once every day for dental health.

The purpose of brushing and flossing is to regularly remove the adherent material from all surfaces of tooth. Brushing is meant to remove plaque from outer and inner surfaces of your teeth. Flossing removed plaque from the triangular spaces in between your teeth where periodontal (gum) disease and hidden cavities begin. It just takes 2 minutes to floss thus promoting a healthier mouth. A preventive care programme also involves training on the method of flossing

Technique of flossing :

Floss at least once daily preferably after meals or at least before bed time.

You adequate floss (12”) comfortably wrapped around your index fingers and supported with your thumbs.
